How to Play
The challenge is to find all five items at your local or County fair, take a selfie with each of the five items and post it on Facebook or Instagram using hashtag #FindMeAtTheFair.
- Dairy cow or dairy product.
- Maple product.
- Honey or honeybee display.
- Natural fibers arts, or a sheep or alpaca.
- Your favorite food truck.
September 2025 Grand Prizes Drawing – Two Winners
Complete 1 Scavenger Hunt per Fair you visit by September 27, 2025 to be entered into the September 2025 Grand Prize Drawing. Attend more than one (1) fair and complete more than one (1) scavenger hunt to be entered into the contest multiple times. Two (2) Grand Prize winners will be randomly selected and notified by October 6, 2025. Prizes include two (2) Official 2026 New York State Passes for County and Local Fairs (valid for all NYSAAF member fairs) and a Taste NY gift basket.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED. By submitting an entry to the Taste NY program (“Sponsor”) #FindMeAtTheFair contest you are agreeing to be bound by the following legal terms. The Taste NY sponsored #FindMeAtTheFair Contest will begin on JULY 2, 2025, and end on SEPTEMBER 27, 2025. Two Grand Prize Winners will be randomly drawn on OCTOBER 6, 2025. All prize winners will be notified via email. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Eligibility
The contest is open only to those who participate and are residents of New York State who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of June 1, 2025. Limit one (1) entry per individual. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. Employees of New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and “Sponsor,” their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the contest. Participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to the contest rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the contest.
Prizes
No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
